Our sweet little blessing, Ben was baptized at Bethel Lutheran Church by the amazing Pastor Matt! Sydney & Owen were baptized too so we were given a lovely private family service followed by dinner at Jen & Brett's house.
It was a beautiful, special day!
Ben's Godparents are Jenna Brenan (my best friend since we were 7 years old) and Spencer VanHereweghe (Pat's 1st police partner and good friend), we know these 2 wonderful people will be such an important part of Ben's life.
Our handsome, happy, wiggly, sweet boy! He truly is a blessing and a joy!
Pastor Matt is such a kind, soft spoken person. His ability to deliver God's message in a powerful and enjoyable way is amazing!
Sydney was so excited to be baptized, she wanted to be first and kept stepping closer and closer to Matt while he talked!
Owen wasn't so sure and responded with "The guy put water on my head but I didn't cry!"
Ben wasn't too happy but he didn't cry!
Mikaila is Sydney's Godmother and Jennifer Taylor is Owen's, unfortunately Jenn was not able to attend but wrote a beautiful message for Owen that was shared during the service.

Ben was a tired little guy all day so getting the normal smiley pictures was a challenge, we had to use his suckie to keep him happy!

We thank you for our precious boy,
for his sweet and curious ways and his bright smile. We pray that he will grow
strong in mind and body and that he will always be surrounded by nurturing
hands and unconditional kindness.

The same day Ben was baptized, Sarra's family welcomed their 6th (and last) baby into the world! Hazel Juliet Eaton arrived July 3, 2013 and we were able to get in a quick snuggle with her before heading home on July 4th.
