Preschool!!!

I returned to work at the end of August and it has been a big change for all of us! New school, new school board and new courses to teach for me! New dayhome and routine for the kids. It was a bumpy start but I think we have all found our new groove. With all the craziness we didn't put Julia into preschool at the beginning of September and while our dayhome provider has been great she doesn't have a playmate Julia's age. So we  decided to enrol Julia in preschool at the beginning of October. And what a great decision it has been! Julia LOVES it! She talks about going to school all the time and today she told me that when she grows up she's going to be a teacher just like me! (ooh, the things she doesn't know!!!) She has memorized the days of the week and months of the year already as they have been taught by singing a song and Julia loves to sing...and dance...and make crafts...and be a princess!
We are so glad she has adjusted so well to all the changes! Both her and Ben have been amazing! I miss them though....

Julia's 3rd Birthday!

Our little girly is 3!!! Sydney, Owen and Auntie Jen came down for Julia's party on September 8th, so did Grandma, Great Grandma and Papa. She was so excited about her Princess Party and had a blast with all her little friends!

Sydney & Owen gave her SEVEN Princess Barbies! I think she has 12 Barbies now!

Happy 1st Birthday Ben!!!

Our little man turned ONE on August 25, 2013. We had a wonderful party for him in Sylvan Lake with family and a couple friends. It was a warm day and also Halloween in August at Points West Resort. The kids had a great time and Ben enjoyed his special ball themed birthday party!
