Easter 2012

We went home for Easter to lend our support to great friends and then spend some time with Julia's cousins and little friends. We had a nice weekend and Julia had so much fun with all the kids. I am so grateful for the wonderful people in our life, we are truly blessed.

Playdate with Finn Brenan, Avrie Wojcicki and Sydney & Owen. They are probably so happy because we just gave them chocolate..Avrie was just finishing hers!!!

 Head lock hug from Finn

Thoroughly enjoying time with Great Grandma!

Palm Springs - March 2012

We went to visit Graggy & Papa Muir in Palm Springs during Spring Break this year. Julia flew down with Pat a couple days before me and was having a ball by the time I arrived. She loved going for walks with Riley in the morning and getting a smoothie at the clubhouse. She would have played outside all day and enjoyed time in the pool....unfortunately her skin did not! She was so tuckered out that she would ask to go "night night" when she needed a nap or she thought it was bed time! She was eventually introduced to the golf cart and wanted to constantly go for a ride.
Grandma & Grandpa Stachniak drove out from Phoenix to visit us and we all had a great time. Julia got the cowboy hat from them and would say "Howdy" and touch her hat at the same time!
It was such a relaxing and enjoyable trip, besides the awful head cold I had...I just cooked the cold out of me in the sun! Can't wait to go back with both kids next year, hopefully Julia will still be wonderful on the plane and her sibling will be too!

I can't get enough of her chubby knees!!!

Papa and Riley after a hard day!

Back to reality, time to clean the house!

She is obsessed with Horton Hears a Who! This is the only thing she'll watch now!

Little Friends

Jenna and Finn came to Calgary for the Family Day weekend and we all went to the Wilson's for a fabulous brunch! The kids are so cute together and its amazing to see their distinct personalities. Baby Faye was so snuggly, Ella is the calm and quiet one, Julia is a little more curious and noisy and Finn is definitely a boys boy!
Trying to give Finn a hug!

 Sweet little girls

They are so smart already, studying to be doctors!

 Smooch-able faces!

Our wonderful neighbour watched Julia for me one day when I was in a jam. Julia and Shamus go to dayhome together and Julia LOVES him!!! She talks about Shamus all the time and we all love how she says his name. The other day Julia was in the bath and asked "Shamus bath too?" The answer will always be "NO, you cannot have a bath with a boy!!!"
This picture is from the day she spent at Shamus' house, I love it!

Sarra, Tim and Baby Ezra came for a quick visit one day. Julia and Tim were hilarious together, she had so much fun playing with him. Ezra is the first Eaton child that Julia has met, she can't wait to meet the rest of the clan!

She wasn't too sure about Ezra when he cried! Aunty Sarra brought Julia her rubber boots, she wears them all the time and got to splash in the puddles a couple weeks ago!

Finally a new post!

Pat was playing in a pond hockey tournament in Lake Louise. I can't remember the last time I was there but it is a stunningly, gorgeous place! The mountains are so close to us and I am always in awe of them, I hope I never take them for granted!

A view of the tournament from the hotel
Julia would have stayed in her sleigh all day!
Pat's team with their 'stick boy'
 Watching Daddy play!

So sleepy after all that fresh air!

Here are some of the pictures from the photo shoot we did in the fall with Meg Henderson. She came to Calgary for us, check her out or book her at elsphotography.com.
