We drove out from Palm Springs to Anaheim on Tuesday afternoon and went to Downtown Disney for dinner. The next day, March 20, 2013 we went to meet the Disney Princesses. We know that Julia is young and probably won't remember but it was so fun to experience Disney through her innocent eyes! She loves the princesses and wanted her to meet them while it was still exciting for her. She did not disappoint, it was like she was meeting her best friends. She ran up and hugged all of them, snuggling right in. She was a little shy and wouldn't really talk but the Princesses were so amazing to her, dancing with her, asking questions and giving her lots of time and attention. We went through the Fantasy Faire Princess area twice that day. We covered very little ground in the 8 hours we were at Disneyland basically just Fantasyland, Toontown and the Finding Nemo submarine ride in Tomorrow Land. But it was so worth it, what a fabulous day!
Dinner in Downtown Disney. We all shared a HUGE pizza and still had enough left over for lunch the next day! Julia got a light up Aurora and a Aurora Balloon....not sure how we feel about the many "bumps" on her!!!
The Disney map had princesses on the front so Julia was instantly hooked on it! She kept pointing at the map and saying "where you want to go?!"
Aurora's Castle! I'm very disappointed I didn't realize until after we could actually
go inside it and explore!
AURORA!!! Her favourite!
Ariel, the Little Mermaid
Snuggles for Cinderella!
King Arthur's Carousel
Mad Tea Party Ride
Dumbo
ToonTown - Meeting Mickey Mouse in his house! He made her a little nervous!
Pixie Hollow - Fawn
Rosetta
Waiting to meet Tinker Bell, she was so patient in all the lines!
Going to see the princesses again, this time she has an Aurora crown!
Dancing with them!
Pinking swearing with Ariel to be friends forever!
Watching Belle's play, she was so tired at this point, I think you can see the exhaustion in her face. She had a little cry after sitting on Daddy's shoulders then had a snooze with Minnie!
Our little Ben was such a trooper! He barely napped for 2 days and ate a lot of cold food but never complained! He was sleeping when we met Mickey so we had to make sure he got a picture with one of the characters...Hello Pluto! I LOVE this picture, Ben's eyes are so beautiful!
My mom is awesome, she is the most helpful Graggy ever! She slept in the same hotel room with the kids the night before and Julia didn't really sleep. We were so glad she came with us and got to see the joy of Disney through Julia as well! (Papa couldn't come because his back was not cooperating!)
Heading home after a wonderful day!
