Great Grandma Anne

Grandma Anne Caroline Miller passed away suddenly on September 11, 2014, she would have been 88 on November 10th.  Grandma Anne loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was never afraid to tell you just what she thought and she was often quite hilarious! She introduced me to the wonderful world of homemade perogies, her's were amazing! She was one heck of a lady and kept us all on our toes. It was a challenge explaining to the kids about her passing as they don't quite understand it yet. They are sad they won't see her anymore but know she is in Heaven. We will miss you Great Grandma! xoxoxoxo

Julia's 4th Birthday!

Julia talked about her birthday for months in advance, the concept of time is a tricky thing for her to understand! Every day she would ask if it was her birthday yet! She is a happy, kind, goofy darling. We are so lucky she is so easy going and that she loves her brother who isn't always very nice to her! She loves to swim, dance, sing and talk! She likes to do puzzles and colour and can stay in the lines most of the time. Julia loves school and learning, she has wonderful curiosity! She likes to play pretend and will start every sentence with "pretend this happened" and most of the time we aren't pretending! We adore her and are blessed she's our girl!

We had a little dinner and cake party on her actual birthday with her favourite Airdrie friends: Shamus, Nabeel & Michelle. She also asked that her best bud Jill come and her favourite babysitter Shannon! The kids were crazy and had a blast running around! 

We gave her a fish as her birthday present. She instantly named him Goldie…her blue & red beta fish is named Goldie!

Birthday Bash!

We had a combined birthday party for Julia and Ben in Sherwood Park at the end of August. It was a wonderful party with our family and friends!

Julia wanted Disney's Frozen on her cake, Ben was obsessed with Planes! Cupcakes with flags were the easiest way to accommodate both. Julia did the sprinkles, you can never have to many!

Wonderfully talented Sarra came to face paint, its one of Julia's favourite things!
