CP Rail Holiday Train stops right in Airdrie every year! Pretty fancy train! It's also right next to the Airdrie Festival of Lights, always a wonder family event!

CPS Kids Christmas Party! Ben was pretty nervous to see Santa, Julia talked about nothing but for a long time!

We got the kids zoo memberships for Christmas, it was a warm December day so we thought we would put them to use! Julia is pretty sure there is a reindeer in this picture!

Julia LOVES preschool!

Julia just loves Footprints For Learning Preschool! She can't wait to go, doesn't ever say goodbye when she walks in and always has fun stories for afterwards! I am very impressed by the program and it makes me so happy that she loves to learn. 

She's taken to this sewing activity and would talk about it non stop until she finally was able to finish it. She had to do "hard work first like math and letters before she can do her Montessori sewing". She was beyond excited to come home with her first one, the circle. She whipped up the star in no time!

Right now she can't wait until St. Patrick's Day, because they have set up a trap for a leprechaun! "He'll walk in and think it's a nice little house and there is gold, some is chocolate gold and then he'll close the door and he'll be trapped!"

New family member

Meet Little Bella, the mini Yorkie! Grandma Cyndi got Bella for her birthday and Julia and Ben just adore her! She is pretty cute!

Halloween

At first Julia wanted to be a princess, Elsa in particular, but eventually she got excited to Minnie Mouse to Ben's Mickey! There are only a few opportunities to coordinate them!

He may unscrew light bulbs from lamps, beat up his sister constantly, rarely listens to us and breaks stuff all the time...but Lordy my boy is beautiful when he's sleeping!!!
